Heyyyy! I Just thought i would update this thing since i havent in forever and a day. STU rocks. i really love it here. My friends that i'm meeting are awesome, my classes are decent, the social scene is def random. Lots of people here are homesick, like my roomie went home this weekend. But i'm just like yeah i'm going home at Christmas time. Sure i miss my fam, and my friends taht are still at HA, and my friends that are at random uni's in the US/Canada. But i'm not homesick.

Ok hey, i'm gunna go but anyone who could possibly go to the Chalice to see Amanda play----> DO IT! Because i cant and it makes me sad. Ciaoooo amigos.

The party scene in Dirty Dancing suddenly has a whole new meaning to me. All because of a random dude I met at Ushuaia's. Yes strange i know, but let me explain. You see Baby helps a guy carry a watermelon to the party right? Well if my connections are right that watermelon was a Vodka Watermelon, which is what the guy I met chose for his sorce of alcohol that night. And while we sat outside taking a break he explained to me that you cut a hole in the melon and pour vodka in and let it soak in. Pretty freeking sweet huh? Lol maybe everyone else in the world knows about this and i was just oblivious but oh well lol. And all you UMO people if you meet a political science major named Chris (I think hes like a sophmore or something) tell him I say hi. lol

But yah Ushuaias was a blast. Got to hang out with old friends and meet some new girlies. All really chill people.  I've finnally recovered from the lack of sleep that night etc. hehe. But it was def so worth it. There better be somewhere in Frederickton where I can get my groove on.

There are only 12 days until I leave for college! Although I'm jealous of the people leaving earlier, because i'm v. anxious to leave. I just feel sooo ready to make new friends, experience new things, create a new life. High school has been a blast for the most part, but I'm def ready to move on.
Nothing too exciting has happened lately (except the excursion with Cody and Shanni last night to put confetti and silly string on an ex-coworker of Shannon's. v. fun!). So i thought instead of boring you with details of my babysitting job etc. I'd give some advice to the upcoming seniors.
Dont miss out on opportunities this year, think about it: some of these people you'll never really see after you graduate. Senior year is the year to hang out with random people, do random things- live life up! Expect changes, people who you thought were your "friends forever" turn out to be different people than you thought. But you have to learn to take everything as it comes. And think for yourself, dont let others control you. Just mainly have fun! I mean i'm not saying you should completely slack off on your studying, but after first semester in most of your classes you're gunna find that their really isnt anything you can do. And i really hope all this years seniors I dearly love didnt create horribly hard schedules for yourself. If so, change them now! lol You're going to want study halls and fun classes like Pysch/Soci to balance your APs. I know these are all things all you people know, but i feel better now that i've restated them for you lol. I wish you all good luck, and dont freek out if you dont have a clue on where you want to be next year for college. I hadnt even heard of STU before the fall of my senior year. Go to lots of the little meetings that reps from colleges come to HA's guidance office. Believe me its helpful. Aight i hope my words of wisdom have perhaps helped someone, maybe lol. Peace out.

I am currently stalking my mailbox. I just want to get my roommate contact info which is supposed to be mailed to me sometime in August (and yes i realize it is only the 3rd). With my luck I will recieve it on August 31st, at which time it would be no use to me. But the US-Canada mail service is not very reliable. Grrr

My Weekend
(and I promise that this entry will be at least more normal than the last however less exciting..hehe)
Friday:
  • Worked from 8-2
  • After work went to MDI to visit my grandparents

  • Went to Jordan Pond House, god I love their popovers! And guess who was my waiter? Seth Hayward.. who if he'd been living at his house would be my neighbor. What are the chances?!
  • Swam in Aunt's pool by myself.. had mix up with meeting up with a cousin etc.
  • Had picnic at Sea Wall
Sunday:
  • Went to 8 AM church service... should've gone to 10 30 service as there would've been chance of seeing Hott Mark. lol
